Eric Swanbury and Steve Penglase merged their successful individual practices in 1989 to form Swanbury Penglase Architects Pty Ltd. Since that beginning the company has grown continuously both in terms of resources and the type and scale of commissions undertaken. From an initial staff of four, our dedicated team of over fifty includes directors, associates, architectural staff, interior designers, landscape architects and administration staff.
In late 2002, our Melbourne office was established, now headed up by associate Justin Carter and with ongoing support and infrastructure from Swanbury Penglase Adelaide.
