David Bagshaw - director
David has over 25 years experience as a senior architect, associate and director and has been responsible for designing and managing a full range of projects from pre-school to tertiary, research, community, health and aged care, offices, residential; covering adaptive reuse, new build and heritage contexts. Many of the projects have been large and complex, involving a high level of consultation, negotiation and coordination. The outcomes always provide a sensitive and creative solution, responding to the specific context, this is a clear and recurring theme in David’s projects. Many projects have been recognised by awards, but more importantly the user feedback is always positive.
David was for many years a keen thespian although he has hung up the grease paint and is now a keen supporter of professional and amateur drama, modern dance and music. In addition he escapes the pressures of a busy work schedule with cycling, bushwalking and camping, sometimes all at the same time. Favourite location – The Northern Flinders Ranges for remoteness and the quintessential outback experience! This is all combined with an interest in the arts, culture and of course great food and wine.
